Moscow Exchange says CEO Afanasyev leaves post early
MOSCOW, Apr 16 (PRIME) -- Moscow Exchange CEO Alexander Afanasyev will leave his position early, from May 15, the bourse said in a statement on Tuesday.
“On April 15, 2019, Moscow Exchange’s supervisory board approved changes to the company’s management team. Having delivered ahead of schedule on all of the goals set out in the exchange’s current strategy, Alexander Afanasyev will step down from his role as Chief Executive Officer,” the statement read.
The supervisory board has recommended Yury Denisov who is yet to be approved by the central bank for the position.
